The Secretariat for Cultural Dissemination is aligned with the regulations and general objectives governing the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí. The dissemination of culture is one of the main guiding principles of the institution, and under this precept, the Secretariat establishes its annual work plan.

Its main objective is to promote art and culture among the university community and the community of San Luis Potosí through artistic and cultural projects in music, visual arts, dance, theater, literature, and film.
